Watch moment a skydiver narrowly escapes death after smashing into power lines and tumbling to earth.
Hundreds of people had gathered to watch the skydiver leap from the plane and then parachute down with an American flag flying from him.
However, this video shows how the stunt quickly went wrong as daredevil gets tossed in the air by a gust of wind. He is thrown head over heels and then hits the power lines before plummeting to the ground below.
Stunned audience members can be heard screeching and drawing breath, while the announcer calls for people to let the emergency services through.
